Mission Hill Middle School PTSA is a volunteer-driven organization run by parents for our students to improve and support our school, and to give our children the best school experience possible. Our mission is to foster the educational experience for all of our students, including academic, social and community programs that promote a diverse, spirited, supportive and inclusive culture at the school. The PTSA coordinates and sponsors many community and fundraising activities to enhance the experience and opportunities for our kids. The Mission Hill PTSA is here to create more opportunities for our school community to come together.
The purpose of the Mission Hill Middle School PTSA is to:
• Promote programs that enhance the joy and well-being of MHMS students and staff in a way that complements and enriches the learning environment;
• Advocate on behalf of students, parents, staff, and the school;
• Nurture and support diversity within the MHMS community;
• Enhance the relationship among the school, parents, and the wider Santa Cruz community;
• Encourage the community's investment of time, energy, and money into Santa Cruz’s public schools.
The Mission Hill PTSA meets on the first Tuesday of the month, September through June, at 6:30 p.m. after ELAC, in the school library. All Maverick families and Students are encouraged to attend. See you there!
